About enterprise
Plantation Sawmilling & Boards Cc, Company
We have been supplying and exporting timber to the industrial, commercial and public sector since 1998.
Originally situated in Kew, Johannesburg. We moved premises to Henley on Klip as we needed more space for growth. We stock a large variety of different softwoods and hardwoods.
We utilize invasive species which we buy in from tree fellers from in and around our area contributing to our ecology and utilization of waste material.
Our finished products include hardwood tongue & groove flooring, decking, solid timber or laminated boards or slabs for tables and vanity tops (planed all round or rough sawn), large solid beams, sleepers, all produced and manufactured at our sawmill in Henley on Klip just south of Johannesburg.
If you have a design concept for an item of furniture or perhaps a requirement for a structural building component or a new contract. We can assist you and your architect in the selection of an appropriate timber species and specifications of suitable scantlings for the pieces. Each piece of timber is unique, even though it may come from the same log.
Wood is a beautiful natural resource and when used responsibly, in the right application and with the correct maintenance, it will last you a lifetime.
